Keyword Density

Keyword Density

It is defined as, number of times a keyword is used over the total number of words on the page.

For example: I have written a paragraph

The SEO is very important nowadays, SEO can be divided in to two parts On Page Optimization and Off Page Optimization. Also there are many SEO companies.

Here SEO keyword has repeated 3 times and the total words are 27

The formula for Keyword Density is (Total Number of repeated keyword / Total number of words) *100

So, in this example Keyword Density is (3/27)*100 = 11.11

So, keyword density is important factor in On Page Optimization. Lesser the keyword density, indicates a good webpage. If the percentage of keyword density is more in a webpage than search engine could considered that page in spamming.

Typically a keyword density between 6 to 15 percentage indicates a good webpage

If you want to know your webpage keyword density then you can check here www.webconfs.com/keyword-density-checker.php

If you are good in English then write in your own wording about what topic you have chosen. Never copy a single words from other websites or also from blogs.

If you will copy from other websites, then you can never be number one in Google. because Google is penalizing those website which are copying from other websites. Google keep those websites in Supplementary Pages.

How Search Engine Works

How a Search Engine work?

A spider or crawler
which is a component of a SE (Search Engine) gathers listings by automatically "crawling" the web

The spider

Based on this data, the SE then indexes the pages and ranks the websites

Major SEs that index pages using spiders: Google, Altavista, Msn, Aol

In brief Search engines use "spiders" to scan the Web for sites, logging certain information and storing that information on servers for later access (this is called indexing). When a user types a search term into the search engine, that search engine pulls up all the sites in that index that contain the term(s). Site with users in mind, so your content has to be relevant, meaningful, and useful to the person visiting your site.
